The other way to spend prestige is through upgrading the Knights of any Knighthood Order. Note: these values will change depending on the multiplier each troop has (check previous table) and further multiplied by a factor that depends on faction relationship, (1.5 at 0 relations, 0.5 at 100 relations) Ignoring the Order relationship factor modifier, the cost to upgrade units depends on Honor in the following way:

The final prestige cost is limited in-between for KntCost, and for SrgCost. If the troop is from a Custom Knighthood Order, RelFac is fixed to 1.25. RelFac is a factor that depends on the player's Relationship with the Order, Rel, via the following expression: Where KntCost and SrgCost are the base cost for Knights and Sergeants, rspectively Hon is the player Honor, and TrpFact is troop multiplier factor in the table above. Prestige Prices Here is the formula for prestige cost, reverse engineered from the compiled code: Each order has different units required to turn into their specialized units. The amount of Prestige required to upgrade lowers based on the amount of Honor you have, going to a minimum of 10 per knight and 4 per sergeant.

Once you have founded a chapter, you can now upgrade units into Knights and Sergeants of the order using Prestige, which is based on how much Renown you have earned over time (at a 1-to-1 conversion rate), but when you drop renown, that same amount of prestige will be deducted from you. Every time you gain 'x' renown, your prestige will also increase by 'x', but when you use up prestige, your renown won't decrease. Same value as your renown, but every time you upgrade a Knighthood Order (which costs some gold and prestige), that amount of prestige will be deducted from your prestige pool.
